It's been a great, long weekend so far. The girls had Thursday and Friday off for Parent/Teacher Conferences, so we've been able to sleep in and just hang out. Love having down time with my babies.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

So, today was supposed to be day 2 of my C25K program, but I had a doc appointment that lasted WAY too long and by the time I was done, it was time to pick the kids up and get dinner going...you know the drill. So, I'll make it up tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be a bit warmer as well. It's been pretty chilly the last couple days. I need a treadmill, then I'll have no excuse. lol
Lots of scrapping in the works for this weekend. Will have TONS to show off in a couple days. WOOHOO

I think I shared some of this a couple weeks ago, but I finally got started, so I gotta report. A little back story...Instead of making resolutions at the beginning of the year, I set a few goals for myself. Most are internal self improvement goals because after all I learned about myself in 2012, things need to change! Anyway, the goal that I feel is going to be the most difficult to achieve is...drum roll please...to run a 5k race by June. It might not seem like much to some, but it's huge for me! I HATE running! lol But I can only imagine how good it will feel to FINALLY kick running's ass (in my own head). So, I've been working on getting my lungs in a little better shape by going out for a fast walk about 4 days a week. Today was the day I decided I needed to actually start working toward that elusive 5k. Today was week 1, day 1 of the Couch to 5k running program. In theory, the program is supposed to take someone who is completely out of shape and condition them to be able to run a 5k in 9 weeks. NINE WEEKS!! I attempted this program before, back in 2008 (I think) and made it to week 6. I think I had to repeat a week or two in there, so it probably took me about 8 weeks to get to week 6. Anyway, week 6 was BRUTAL for me and I gave up. :( I hate that I was a quitter! So this time, I have to finish! Y'all need to hold me accountable! Ask me how it's going so I either have to hang my head in shame or I can proudly report I'm still doing it.
That's about it for today. Some cool stuff coming up in Digi land...can't wait to share.
